Japanese
Yakitori is the whole point here, not a footnote to a sushi menu. The chef, Hiroshi Kobayashi, built this compact Japanese restaurant around grilled chicken skewers, and the menu follows that logic faithfully. Chicken wings and scallops fill out the card, and the Avila beef tongue shows up and quietly surprises everyone. Go à la carte or surrender to the omakase, which comes in short or long form depending on your appetite for ceding control.
