The old events room of a 19th-century Porto mansion, all gilded frames and palatial mirrors, is now a Michelin-starred dining room where the menu splits between a fully vegetarian route and one that follows the Atlantic tides. The chef's cooking is quietly serious about Portuguese fish and seafood, and a two-seat counter tucked into the former bar lets a pair of diners cook alongside the kitchen in what amounts to a private dinner party they didn't have to host.
