A glass-and-steel tower that cuts above the Jardins treeline and announces itself before you're anywhere near the lobby. This is a hotel running at São Paulo's preferred volume: bold color, Brazilian stone and wood, cinematic Modernist design, and a rooftop pool that never quite settles down. Rooms sit high enough for serious views. The morning coffee comes from a women-led collective, which is a better origin story than most hotels bother with.
