    The sushi bar is ringed with wooden masks and flags, and the basement room is modeled on a WWII bunker, which tells you this izakaya-style Japanese restaurant in central Madrid has a point of view. The chef, Julián Mármol, holds a Michelin star for cooking that moves between Japanese and Mediterranean without losing either, and the menu runs as a pair of tasting courses rather than anything à la carte.
