The best hotels in Todos Santos, according to the experts: the Michelin Guide has weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Todos Santos Boutique Hotel comes out on top.
-
Ten rooms, each with a full-wall mural of a colonial scene that looks like time stopped mid-afternoon. This boutique hotel in the artsy pueblo mágico of Todos Santos sits just off the main drag, its public spaces wrapped in ivy-covered brickwork and its interiors done up in dark wood and gilt-framed mirrors. It holds a Michelin Key, and it makes a quiet case for the hour's drive north from Cabo.

Rooms and suites arranged around a central pool on the Pacific coast of Baja, Hotel San Cristóbal is Bunkhouse's first move outside Texas, and it lands in Todos Santos at a lucky moment, before the town fully discovers itself. The setup is beach-casual with a boutique edge, the bar and restaurant carry the social life since the town mostly doesn't, and the agenda outside is surfing or whale-watching. It holds a Michelin Key.

Three rooms in a whitewashed building off the beach road north of Todos Santos, and each one climbs to a private rooftop terrace with a sea view. This small boutique hotel, run by a Mexican couple who fell hard for Baja on a road trip, keeps things spare and pale, with wood furnishings and rain showers. The grounds are desert-garden quiet, and after dark the circular concrete fire pit under open sky is the obvious place to be.
