The Best Hotels in Bremen

A business hotel on Hillmannplatz that manages to be genuinely comfortable without making a fuss about it. Rooms come with ergonomic desks and speedy room service for the weekday crowd, plus a playroom and cartoon-themed kids' rooms for families. Bremen's Town Hall and the old quarter are a short walk, and Beck's brewery tours are close enough to count as a local amenity.

A modern building grafted onto an old merchant's residence, which itself sits atop the ruins of the city wall, right on the Weser. This boutique hotel in Bremen goes full contemporary inside: monochrome in some rooms, earthy neutrals in others, classic modernist furniture, oversized black-and-white prints. The bathrooms open to the bedroom and border on decadent. The spa skips the Zen clichés for something darker and underground.
