  2. The coffee roasting happens right on the premises, which means the Henderson strip-mall exterior is a bit misleading. Dark Moon is a coffee shop that takes its work seriously, roasting in-house, making its own syrups and cold brew, and supplying beans to retailers across Southern Nevada. The bar seats are good for a quick espresso or a long morning with a laptop. Order the pour-over if you want proof the sourcing isn't an afterthought.

  4. Egg & I is a sit-down diner on West Sahara, the sort of breakfast spot you've seen on television, where someone always clutches a coffee mug and the forks clatter on cue. A model train circles the ceiling while you eat, which keeps the adults as entertained as the kids. Eggs are the point, especially the chile relleno omelet, and the banana nut muffin earns its spot on the plate in place of toast. Eater lists it among Las Vegas's best breakfast restaurants.

  6. Rank 291. Gäbi Coffee & Bakery

    Korean Coffee Shop

A greenhouse-style coffee station sits at the center of an otherwise industrial room, tucked behind heavy wooden doors in a Chinatown strip mall. This Korean coffee shop pulls espresso and pour overs alongside signature drinks and desserts so meticulously arranged they feel almost too pretty to eat. Regulars navigate the nondescript parking lot without a second thought. A second location sits in Henderson.

  8. Rank 291. HaSalon

    Israeli

The menu at this Israeli fine dining room lists a dish as "Horrible Hammer smashing herbs and flowers on meat," which tells you everything you need to know about the energy here. Chef Eyal Shani's Las Vegas outpost pulls from Tel Aviv by way of Japanese and French technique, but the real point is that dinner turns into a dance party, and the tile-and-warm-wood room is built to look lived in just enough to make table-dancing feel earned.

  9. Hayworth is a Jewish steakhouse in Henderson, which means challah knots where the dinner rolls would be and whipped chicken schmaltz where the butter usually goes. It's dressed-up date-night territory, with plush booths, icy martinis, and well-dressed neighbors airing grievances about their cooling bills over latkes crowned with roe. The pastrami is finished with bone marrow jus, and the babka comes home with you.

  10. Rank 291. Lemon Tree Cafe and Market

    Neapolitan Pizzeria

  11. A French bakery on West Charleston where the croissants and chausson aux pommes share the case with a full Dubai chocolate section, because the pistachio-and-kataifi craze has to land somewhere. Pain au chocolat is the old-guard order, and the team runs savory croissant and quiche specials through the week. It's a pastry-case-and-pay-at-the-counter kind of place, so come as you are and leave with a box.

  12. Milkfish is a Filipino home bakery that mostly turns up as a Saturday pop-up, so checking the website before you drive over is the whole game. The pastry case runs to ube-striped babka, crispy karioka fritters, and a coconut-and-pandan-soaked dulce de leche cake, all of it Filipino bakeshop tradition with a few modern ideas smuggled in. It has James Beard Foundation recognition, which is a lot for a kitchen that's also somebody's kitchen.

  14. The unmarked door is the whole point. Tucked behind the sushi counter at the Venetian, this speakeasy bar keeps a low profile by design, with a full bar, ube espresso martinis, and snacks that skew sharper than the hand rolls out front. Convention-goers grabbing a boxed set to-go have no idea it's back there, which is more or less how the regulars prefer it.

  15. Ohlala is a French bistro wedged between a Starbucks and a Bank of America in a Summerlin strip mall, which is about as far from a Strip brunch as you can get. There's no DJ and no smoking cocktails, just a proper French omelette, a croque monsieur with ham and cheese in every bite, and brie turning up on the burger and in croquettes. Even the pain perdu is savory, made with crusty French bread.

  16. Rank 291. Osteria Fiorella

    Refined Italian

  17. Peg's is a casual breakfast diner on West Sahara where pajama pants raise no eyebrows. The menu wanders from American to Hawaiian to Mexican, but the name tells you what the kitchen takes seriously: ham and eggs, sold by the half pound or the full pound, with unlimited toast on the side. Fried spam and loco moco plates are there for anyone who'd rather have mac salad with their eggs. It's cheap, filling, and not a place that cares what you're wearing.

  20. Sartiano's is a high-end Italian steakhouse on the Strip, with a patio that looks out over Wynn's private fairways and the Sphere glowing behind them. It sits next door to the celebrity-heavy members' club Zero Bond, and the room carries some of that hush. Expect an expense-account crowd, caviar cannoli to start, and meatballs that quietly steal the show from the steaks. It's polished without being stiff.

  21. Tableau is the Wynn's daytime restaurant, a sunlit atrium with a patio of oddly sculpted hedges, so breakfast comes with a garden party you didn't RSVP to. Expect resort prices and brunch groups dressed for photos, some of whom were clearly up all night at the club. The pancakes are lemon ricotta, and the coffee list goes well past black into mushroom territory.

  23. A counter-service taqueria in Summerlin where the tacos run about four bucks and the line forms before anyone's decided what they want. Takeout is the realistic plan, though the tables have little cupholders that swing out from the corners, which feels like a lot of engineering for a michelada. The al pastor comes off the spit with pineapple, and the mushroom taco is for anyone who came with a skeptical friend.

  24. Rank 291. Tous les Jours Cafe

    French-influenced Korean Bakery

  25. Rank 291. With Love, Always

    Smashed Onion American Burger Joint

With Love, Always is a retro diner off the Strip that started as a parking lot pop-up and now draws lines for smashed onion burgers with lacy, crispy edges, finished with a creamy sauce and shoestring fries. It's casual and loud in the good way, packed with families fresh from practice. The soft serve comes with a pickup ticket, so your custard arrives after the burger instead of as soup beforehand. It's on The Infatuation's list of the 25 best restaurants in Las Vegas.

  26. El Bagel is a Miami bagel shop that opened a counter in the Fontainebleau food hall, which means your bacon, egg, and cheese now has a casino view. The line forms early with people who have clearly met the night before, and the pastrami gets smoked for 18 hours, a commitment most of us can't make to anything. It's a quick, casual stop, and a beautiful mess to eat. Eater has named it for both bagels and sandwiches.

  27. Rank 347. Tacos El Gordo

    Tijuana Taqueria

This is a Tijuana-style taqueria on Charleston with a drive-thru and a line that never seems to get the memo that it's a taco stand. Inside, each meat gets its own queue, so groups split up, order in parallel, and reunite holding paper plates like pallbearers. It runs until 2 a.m., prices stay in paper-plate territory, and the menu leans hard on beef and pork, so bring people who eat both.

  28. Rank 351. 888 Korean BBQ

  30. Rank 351. Hobak Korean BBQ

    Korean Barbecue

  31. La Neta is a sit-down Mexican restaurant in Downtown Summerlin that went heavy on the decor: velvet booths, stained glass murals, chandeliers, and enough foliage cascading from the ceiling to suggest the plants are also on the guest list. Expect margaritas and a menu that moves from oysters and ceviche to flautas. Weekend brunch comes with bottomless drinks, which pairs conveniently with the Saturday farmers market nearby.

  32. This is a concession stand parked outside the Absinthe circus tent, which sets the bar for fare somewhere around nachos in a plastic boat. Instead it sells a smash burger on a soft pretzel bun, with two beef patties, charred onions, and thick pickles, plus star-shaped tots. Order the caviar tots if you're feeling flush, or eat standing up among the hedges like a person who just wandered out of a show.

  34. The awards

  35. Village Pub is the casual cafe tucked inside Ellis Island, just off the Strip, where the specials board does the heavy lifting. A half-pound cheeseburger with steak fries runs about seven dollars, and a 10-ounce sirloin dinner shows up after midnight if you ask for it by name. There's a brewery on-site, so the root beer arrives thick enough to count as dessert. Come as you are, and you'll fit right in.

  36. Rank 351. Virgil's Real BBQ

  38. Rank 362. All You Korean BBQ

    Korean Barbecue

  39. Rank 362. All’Antico Vinaio

    Florentine Deli

  40. Rank 362. Amore Taste of Chicago

    Chicago-style Pizzeria

Amore is a casual neighborhood pizzeria that brings Chicago to the desert, which is a long way to carry an opinion about crust. The tavern-style pies come out thin and cut in squares, and the deep-dish is there for the purists. Start with fried pickles or garlic bread, finish with mini cannoli, and eat the whole thing in a room that asks nothing of your wardrobe. Eater listed it among the best pizza in Las Vegas.

  41. Anthony's is the M Resort steakhouse in Henderson, where the Sunday brunch buffet runs on a steakhouse budget and carries a price tag closer to a Strip dinner than a morning meal. The spread skips the usual sad chafing dishes for snow crab legs, beef Wellington, and prime rib. The patio looks out at the Strip from a safe distance, and reservations are limited, so book early.

  44. Rank 362. Big B’s Texas BBQ

    Southern Barbecue

  45. Rank 362. Blossom

    Traditional Beijing

Blossom is a Cantonese-leaning dinner room at the Cosmopolitan-adjacent end of the Strip, built around traditional Chinese design principles, which means mirrored leaf walls and chandeliers shaped like dew drops. The lighting is soft enough to forgive anything you do to your chopsticks. Expect a proper sit-down dinner with a tableside Beijing duck carving, so dress like someone who plans to be photographed near crystal.

  46. Bottled Blonde is a three-story rooftop bar and kitchen on the Strip, with more than 40 televisions and a view of the Bellagio fountains, so you can watch the game and the water at the same time. Weekend brunch runs 11 to 3, with bottomless mimosas, spicy bloody marys, and fried chicken and waffles for the hours when a salad would be a bold choice. Eater has it on its list of Las Vegas brunches.

  47. Bronze Cafe is a casual northwest Las Vegas sandwich counter in a suite off Buffalo Drive, where the menu splits itself almost evenly between meat and vegetarian. The signature order is a towering stack of bacon, bacon jam, turkey and avocado on toasted ciabatta, and the vegan version is a near-twin with coconut bacon jam and Tofurky. Eater has put it on its list of the best Vegas sandwiches, and the whole thing runs counter-service casual.

  48. Rank 362. Butcher & Thief

    Steakhouse

Butcher & Thief is a steakhouse in a Sunset Road strip-mall suite, where the usual surf-and-turf script gets a few liberties. The chops are cut in-house, and the menu also runs to peanut-butter-crusted bacon, cheesesteak egg rolls, and sour cream and onion bubble bread. It's a steakhouse that remembered dinner is allowed to be fun, so expect a dressy-casual room and a check that behaves like a Vegas steakhouse check.

  49. Getting into this off-Strip speakeasy means ringing a football, which feels like a sentence from a fever dream, and then supplying a password you only get by booking ahead. A host in a vest and flat cap works the room while jazz singers handle the stage, and you can request an unlikely cover from the lounge. It's an Italian steakhouse in costume, so the red leather booths fill up with tourists.

  50. Rank 362. Capon’s Burgers

    Old-school American Burger Joint

  51. Casa Di Amore is a red-sauce Italian restaurant that also happens to be a tiki bar, a pairing that sounds like a dare and somehow holds together. The room glows red, with stained glass chandeliers shaped like rings of parrots, and the garlic bread comes buried in melted mozzarella. The chicken parm is plate-sized, and in summer there's an outdoor tiki bar out back for frozen piña coladas.

  52. Rank 362. Casa Don Juan

    Classic Mexican

  53. Chéri Rooftop is a French restaurant perched up the Eiffel Tower in Paris Las Vegas, which means you're dining in a replica of a landmark while looking at the real Strip. Expect Champagne, caviar cones, and a steak tartare that suits the date-night dress code. The chocolate soufflé takes an extra 15 minutes, a delay that couples tend to find suspiciously convenient. Eater lists it among its romantic restaurants in town.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. The places are 60% of it: the best of what's within reach, weighed by distance. The setting is the other 40%: how life goes in that country (how people rate their own lives, how long and how well they live, how safe they are) and what it's like right there (the air, and the weather). If the score looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
