Floor-to-ceiling windows frame one of the great Paris postcards: the Comédie-Française, the Louvre, and the Conseil d'État all at once. This is a classic brasserie, doing the full canon with snails, sole meunière, and some properly Lyonnaise intrusions, pike quenelle among them. In fine weather the terrace under the Haussmannian arcade fills fast, and you can hardly blame anyone for ordering slowly.
