Five rooms, white on white, tucked down a medina alley in Marrakech: Dar Seven is a riad hotel stripped of the usual riot of color, its Italian owners apparently preferring calm to kaleidoscope. The open courtyard and carved arches are still very much Moroccan, but the palette reads more like a boutique hotel in Milan. The rooftop terrace handles breakfast and sunset drinks, and the staff will put together a Moroccan dinner if you ask early enough.
