Japanese
The semicircular wood structure on the corner of Castañeda is what gives this Japanese restaurant its name, and the interior earns the concept: spare, considered design that lands somewhere near Shibuya without trying too hard. The open kitchen keeps to Japanese tradition without chasing fusion detours. Before or after, the upstairs bar pours an "Ash," the house take on a martini, which is a good reason to arrive early or linger.
