    Every one of the 19 rooms faces the Atlantic, which is either a design philosophy or a firm refusal to let guests check email. This small hotel sits on Place Bellevue, the wide pedestrian square perched above Biarritz's Grande Plage, with the lighthouse and open sky filling every bay window. Art Deco bones, plush beds, and the market, casino, and beach all within a short walk round out a package that suits surfers and aesthetes equally.
