Kota Ono holds an official title as tourism ambassador for Awaji Island, and his omakase counter on the sixth floor of a Kitashinchi building is essentially his argument for why that island deserves one. Seafood, wagyu, soy sauce, even the salt arrive from Awaji, and the seasonal platter comes in portions generous enough to make you forget you're in a place with a Michelin star.
