A Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant on the fourth floor of a Nishitemma building, quiet and easy to miss from the street. The chef, Osaka-born through and through, builds a seasonal kaiseki-style menu around the city's old Naniwa vegetables, finishing every meal with three rounds of rice dishes, refillable until you genuinely cannot move. Sashimi arrives with deep-fried onion and rough-grated daikon, which is not how your grandmother did it.
