    The ground floor runs a grand café; upstairs, through a discreet side entrance and a private lift, is something else entirely. This contemporary French restaurant in Recoleta channels nouvelle cuisine with a strong Argentine accent, the menu running à la carte through dishes that pair clean European technique with local instincts. The chef competed in the Bocuse d'Or and staged at Mirazur, which explains the precision without quite explaining the warmth.
