Ta Vie
Contemporary French
The phrase the chef keeps returning to is "pure, simple and seasonal," which is easy to say and very hard to pull off at three Michelin stars. Ta Vie is a contemporary French dining room on the second floor of a Central hotel, built around a French-Japanese sensibility that plenty of others have since borrowed. The drinks list runs to wine, artisanal sake, and seasonal cocktails, and it earns the attention the food gets.
