Yafa is a Middle Eastern restaurant tucked into Carmel, where the owner's goodbye sometimes includes a hug, which is either charming or alarming depending on your relationship with hugs. The mezze plate arrives generously loaded, and the kebabs come properly charred. A Michelin Bib Gourmand, and locals fill it like they never considered anywhere else.
