The Top 28 Restaurants Near Stary Dom

  1. Rank 1. Stary Dom

    Polish Eastern European

  2. Rank 2. kontakt

    Mediterranean

  3. Rank 3. Willa Biała

    Eastern European

  4. Rank 4. GreenTable

    Modern Eastern European

  5. A Michelin-starred neighborhood restaurant that somehow never lost the feel of a neighborhood restaurant, Rozbrat 20 sits in a quiet Warsaw street while the kitchen quietly does something intricate and creative. The front room opens onto the chefs at work, which is fitting, since the food repays attention: a consommé built from leftover bread, langoustine with kohlrabi and kombu, and a Marmite butter the chef brought back from London like a souvenir worth keeping.

  6. Andrea Camastra has a chemistry degree from Oxford and an on-site lab to prove it, which tells you everything about the kind of tasting menu restaurant NUTA is. His cooking folds together his native Puglia, his adopted Poland, and a deep pull toward Asian flavors, and it holds together in ways that probably shouldn't. A Michelin star. The longer Maestro menu, with wine pairings, is the move.

  7. A Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant in a century-old building on Praga's quieter bank of the Vistula, where the chef has a habit of delivering dishes to the table himself. Two menus to choose from, both built around technique and serious sourcing. The cooking moves from delicate opening snacks through to a surf-and-turf that swaps the clichés for ribeye and crayfish. Intimate enough that the service actually remembers you exist.

  8. Rustic wooden furniture, vintage posters, and enough colour to temporarily forget you're on a Warsaw side street, this casual Thai restaurant holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand and leans into it without getting precious. The kitchen draws on the chef's training in Thailand and leans heavily on imported ingredients, so the flavours land with some conviction. The khao soi, with its spiced beef brisket, is the dish regulars seem to order without looking up.

  9. Rank 10. WANDAL

    Polish Eastern European

Offal-stuffed doughnuts with grated horseradish might sound like a dare, but that's the concept at this Warsaw restaurant: traditional Polish cooking, deliberately disrupted. The name means "vandal," and the kitchen leans into it, reworking familiar recipes with enough restraint to stay delicious and enough nerve to stay interesting. The team knows its wine list well, and the prices are the kind that make you order one more round. A Michelin Bib Gourmand.

  10. Despite the name, this bright South American restaurant on ul. Twarda goes well beyond ceviche, though the Peruvian classic is there in several forms if you want it. Empanadas, grilled steaks, and tostones fill out the menu, all cooked with a looseness that feels more dinner-party than dining room. By evening the music rises and the pisco sours come faster. It holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand.

  11. Rank 12. WYRAJ

    Polish Eastern European

Named for the Slavic afterlife, a paradise where souls rest, this snug little restaurant on Krochmalna takes the mythology seriously enough to make everything in-house and change the menu with the seasons. It's a casual, cozy spot for old Polish cooking, the kind that feels genuinely rooted rather than performed. The Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand, which tracks: the food is careful and the prices are kind.

  12. A wine importer opened this place, which explains why the shelves run to over 300 bottles with a serious lean into Central and Eastern European producers. Browse and buy on the ground floor, then head upstairs to a spare, minimalist bistro where the cooking is precise and the menu is priced like they actually want you to order another glass. A Michelin Bib Gourmand, and the staff know the list well enough to steer you without making it a lecture.

  13. Rank 15. Warszawski Tygrys

    Asian-influenced Eastern European

  14. Rank 16. mayo

    Modern Eastern European

  15. Rank 19. La Luce

    Italian

  16. The terrace looks straight out onto Piłsudski Square, which is reason enough to book a summer table. This is a hotel restaurant inside the Raffles Europejski, with a charcoal grill doing the heavy lifting on Dover sole and beef fillet alongside classic Polish dishes. The house-distilled vodka is the obvious move, and the Long Bar next door, modeled on the Raffles Singapore original, handles the rest of the evening.

  17. Rank 23. Epoka

    Modern Eastern European

  18. Rank 28. Peaches

    Vegetarian
