The Best Vegan in Paris

The best vegan in Paris, according to the experts: Michelin Guide, The Infatuation, and Eater have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Faubourg Daimant comes out on top.

Eat, change section
  1. Stuffed cabbage arrives in a sauceboat of jus at this vegan bistro on a street that has quietly become a destination for serious eaters. The kitchen works from French bourgeois tradition, just without the butter and cream, which sounds like a contradiction until the food arrives and you stop thinking about it. Croquettes, glazed king trumpet mushrooms, lentil pâté: the sharing plates lean generous, and the room stays unpretentious about the whole thing.

  2. Rank 2. Jah Jah

    Vegan Caribbean

Jah Jah started life as a vegan hot dog tricycle and has since settled into a proper Afro-Caribbean canteen, complete with Bob Marley portraits, Jamaican flags, and a reggae soundtrack that never gets a day off. The all-vegan menu runs to tempeh skewers, barbecue cauliflower wings, and bowls built on yams and acheke. Order the bissap or ginger juice, because the skewers bring more heat than the tricycle ever did.

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

      Stay Score

Four fifths of the score is the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin Key outweighs a listicle. The last fifth is where it is: the ranked places to eat and things to do around it, and how safe the country is. When you sort by what's nearby, distance from you changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. The places are 60% of it: the best of what's within reach, weighed by distance. The setting is the other 40%: how life goes in that country (how people rate their own lives, how long and how well they live, how safe they are) and what it's like right there (the air, and the weather). If the score looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
