A former neoclassical hospital building, converted into a 77-room boutique hotel a short walk from the La Rambla chaos. Raw brick walls, leather headboards, and African zebrawood floors in the loft suites give it texture, while Buddhist art and a sliding panel hiding the flat-screen keep things from feeling like an airport lounge. Breakfast runs until 1pm, dogs are welcome, and the small pool is better suited to a sundowner than actual swimming.
