Each of the fourteen floors was handed to a different architect, so checking in here feels less like booking a hotel room and more like choosing a collaborator. Zaha Hadid's rooms are molded plastic in black, white, or orange, flowing like ice caves; Norman Foster, Ron Arad, and John Pawson each took a floor of their own. A rooftop bar sits on top of it all, a Metro ride from central Madrid but a world away from anything that looks like a normal hotel.
