    The infinity pool on the rooftop terrace is where the hotel really argues its case, with a panorama over Alfama's rooftops and the Tagus that makes the wine bar setup there each evening feel almost unfair. Memmo Alfama is a comfortable boutique hotel, not a pampering operation, housed in a restored building on a hillside in one of Lisbon's oldest neighborhoods. Rooms vary from courtyard-facing to river-view; book accordingly.
