Moon Bay
Cantonese
A full page of shark's fin options should tell you something about the room's ambitions. This is an old-school Cantonese fine-dining restaurant occupying a genuinely generous footprint on the eighth floor of the Convention Centre, which turns out to be an unlikely address for such an opulent interior. The menu runs deep into upscale traditional territory: congee, drunken abalone, char siu, and wok-fried crabmeat with crab roe, the kind of spread where the table next to you has probably ordered differently.
