    Old photos of the original Mr. Rioux and Mr. Pettigrew still hang on the walls of this traditional Quebec dining room near the Old Port, wooden floorboards and exposed stone completing the picture. The kitchen leans into the province's terroir with hearty, familiar cooking that occasionally surprises. The kind of place where the room feels like it predates everyone in it, and the menu makes a decent argument for that being a good thing.
