The best places in Fatih, according to the experts: the Forbes Travel Guide, the Michelin Guide, and The 50 have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet comes out on top.
More Less
Arc Co Coffee Roastery and Khaldi Coffee hold the next two places. The World Coffee Map shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with the Forbes Travel Guide next.

The arched windows and yellow-ochre façade give nothing away, but this Forbes Five Star hotel spent its earlier life as a political prison, which is either a great story to tell at dinner or a mild haunting, depending on your outlook. It sits steps from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and the rooms are all hand-woven carpets and Murano glass. A small, quietly opulent base for the old city.
