The Best Restaurants in Las Vegas, by the Record

  1. Dim sum carts still roll through this cavernous Cantonese dining room inside the Gold Coast casino, just off the Strip, which is its own kind of statement. The open kitchen turns out roast duck and walnut prawns alongside the steamed, baked, and fried parade from the trolleys. The lotus-wrapped sticky rice bundles and XO fried rice rolls are the ones to flag down. A full Cantonese menu runs all day for anyone who wants something more substantial.

  2. Rank 102. Balla Italian Soul

    Coastal Italian

  3. Rank 135. Gjelina

    California Mediterranean

  4. Rank 135. HaSalon

    Israeli Middle Eastern

The menu at this Israeli fine dining room lists a dish as "Horrible Hammer smashing herbs and flowers on meat," which tells you everything you need to know about the energy here. Chef Eyal Shani's Las Vegas outpost pulls from Tel Aviv by way of Japanese and French technique, but the real point is that dinner turns into a dance party, and the tile-and-warm-wood room is built to look lived in just enough to make table-dancing feel earned.

  5. Rank 135. Osteria Fiorella

    Refined Italian

  6. Rank 188. Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar

    Sports Bar American

  7. Rank 188. Miznon

    Israeli Middle Eastern

  8. Rank 188. Tacos El Gordo

    Tijuana-style Mexican

  9. Rank 197. Red Plate

    Cantonese

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
