Beer Bar
Barr sits in the old Noma space on the Copenhagen waterfront, which is either a heavy burden or the perfect setup for a restaurant that wants nothing to do with precious. It's a beer-friendly, blonde-oak dining room serving comfort food from around the North Sea: frikadeller with red cabbage, wiener schnitzel, Belgian waffles with smoked marrow. René Redzepi is a partner, though the vibe is firmly cozy rather than reverential.
