Pakistani-Indian restaurant on a Fullerton strip that otherwise runs to taquerias and carnicerias, which tells you something about how much confidence it takes to open here. The room is bright and a little hip, with a craft mocktail bar in the back. Beef is quietly central to the menu, though chicken and vegetable dishes hold their own. The walls are buried in British memorabilia, which is either charming or a lot, depending on how you feel about commemorative royal plates. Either way, this is a proper English pub in Fullerton, the kind that's been around forever and makes fish and chips, bangers and mash, and homemade baked pies without apologizing for any of it. The fish and chips have a following. Scratch-made soups and desserts round things out.
