The best Mexican food in Atlanta, according to the experts: the Michelin Guide, AAA, and the James Beard Awards have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Superica comes out on top.
More Less
Alma Cocina - Downtown and Habaneros Midtown hold the next two places. AAA shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with Eater next.

Rank 1. Superica
Contemporary Tex-Mex
The original location inside Krog Street Market, this Tex-Mex restaurant has since spawned locations across the region, which tells you something about the queso fundido. High ceilings, an open kitchen, and a large bar keep the room loud and sociable. The flour tortillas and margaritas arrive cold and fast, respectively. It holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand, and the crowd on any given evening looks like it's been coming here for years.
